Liberate & Sustain.
Solar engineering made useful for everyday life outdoors.
LINKSOLAR is the outdoor solar technology brand developed and operated by Shenzhen Lianyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd (深圳市联阳新能源科技有限公司).
Launched in 2023, LINKSOLAR brings the company’s experience in solar modules, electronics, product structures and testing into products people can carry, wear and use. Our aim is not simply to attach a solar panel to an existing object. It is to design the solar system around a real need and the way the complete product will be used.

Why LINKSOLAR exists
People take powered devices almost everywhere, while reliable access to an outlet often ends when they step outdoors. A phone running low during a journey, lighting needed at camp or an address that should remain visible after dark can all create practical problems.
At the same time, improvements in solar-cell efficiency make it possible to generate more useful power from the limited surfaces available on consumer products. Shenzhen Lianyang saw an opportunity to connect that progress with its product-development capabilities and launched LINKSOLAR.
We describe our purpose as Liberate & Sustain: helping people depend less on fixed power outlets while making renewable energy easier to use in everyday settings.
One company, one connected product system
Shenzhen Lianyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd leads LINKSOLAR’s brand strategy, product planning, research and development, manufacturing preparation and marketing.
The work is supported by a multidisciplinary R&D team of approximately 50 professionals. Its capabilities span solar-module design and encapsulation, electronics, structural engineering, industrial design, assembly processes and product testing.
Keeping these disciplines connected helps the team evaluate the complete product: how it captures sunlight, manages power, withstands use, fits the body or environment and can be manufactured consistently.
The principles behind our work
Start with a real need
We study how people carry, connect, install and use a product before deciding which technology belongs in it.
Design the complete system
Solar cells, encapsulation, electronics, structure and user experience are developed as connected parts of one product.
Validate before release
Ideas move through engineering prototypes, design validation and production trials so that function, reliability and manufacturing can be reviewed at the right stages.
Communicate honestly
Sunlight and real-world conditions affect solar output. We explain those conditions instead of turning a rated value into a promise of constant performance.
From a conversation to the 13W Solar Backpack
At an overseas trade show in 2023, a French visitor described two concerns while travelling: protecting belongings and keeping a phone charged without repeatedly opening a backpack or carrying a separate power bank in hand.
The LINKSOLAR team returned with a question: could one backpack address both needs while making solar charging a natural part of the product?
Development took approximately 14 months and five to six design revisions. The team worked through the ABS front shell, locking and access details, solar-cell selection, flexible panel integration, voltage and power design, charging controls and the side connection point.
The resulting 13W Solar Backpack combines a lockable main compartment, a rigid front shell, an integrated solar module and convenient external charging access. For us, it represents the way LINKSOLAR should work: listen closely, define the complete use experience and refine the system until the technology serves a clear purpose.
This account is based on the LINKSOLAR team’s recollection of the development process; early prototypes and historical test records were not retained.

One approach, different applications
People need power in different places, so LINKSOLAR products take different forms. Solar backpacks bring generation into what people carry. Solar tents integrate it into camp equipment. Audio hats and fan hats explore wearable uses. Home Solar products apply the same thinking around the home.
The common thread is practical integration: matching the solar system to the product’s available area, power needs, structure and intended environment.
Solar for the space around home
Luma Solar House Number Lights bring a solar panel, rechargeable battery and LED lighting into each character, helping make an address visible after dark without routing a mains cable to every number or letter.
Good results still depend on installation. Sun exposure, viewing distance, wall space and secure mounting matter as much as appearance. Our Luma Support, sunlight guide and selection guide explain those choices.
The future we are working toward
We want solar to become more than equipment people set up separately. We see it becoming a useful capability designed naturally into outdoor gear, lighting and everyday devices.
That does not mean promising endless power. It means making better use of the energy available, reducing unnecessary dependence on fixed outlets and giving people another practical way to stay powered.
Useful solar starts with clear expectations
Sunlight changes, and so does solar output. Charging performance depends on sunlight, shade, panel angle, temperature and the connected device. Rated solar power is not a promise of constant output, and solar charging may supplement other charging methods rather than replace them.
We believe honest guidance is part of responsible product design. Visit Solar Lab for practical explanations and check each product page for its specific features and limitations.
